if you're a Marketmanila.com reader, then you realize that EB events hosted by MM are truly special. The time and money expended are always worth it. Below are photos of the 3rd Marketman EB, a happy Saturday lunch in Cebu in the capitol area. It was a great success -- good food, good company, good weather. At the end are additional photos of the night out I had afterwards with fellow travelers Jojo, Joelle, Madeleine, and Charlotte.

Edit: Found out from the MM website the correct names of some of the food (esp the salads!)

but anyway: lunch site was near the capitol site; went to Z-bar also. passed by shangrila and did some shopping during this too short trip. :D

yeah we get mangosteen and rambutan here. they're more expensive here though i think.

the vegetarians weren't with us during the lechon portion of the trip. :)

but if they did go, they could have had the lato salad, the nangka and the sea cucumber salads. :)

you should see how much others ate!
they wanted to compare the 5 lechons eh.
estimate daw was that there was enough lechon skin for each person to eat 1/2 a square foot (i.e. 6inches x 12 inches)

this real estate developments called Terrazas something I believe. It's a view of Cebu from a mountain top. 15 mins drive from the lunch site.
